Negotiating For Results (2 Days)

Based on over 20 years of teaching negotiation skills, this two day workshop will give you advanced skills in negotiating and resolving conflict.  The workshop is highly practical with a good mix of theory and practice. There is a range of case studies and exercises where you can practice and develop your skills. There's also the opportunity to plan for and practise for your next workplace negotiation. Feedback for this program has been fantastic, with people walking away with specific negotiation plans that they are able to implement immediately.

Leading and Building Teams (2 days)

To really hone your team leadership skills, this two day module will provide you with the skills, processes and knowledge on how to lead and manage your team.  The module is highly practical with both theory and exercises for you to develop your team leadership skills.  You'll have a chance to assess yourself and your role within the team to make sure that the mix of roles and experience is balanced.

Coaching Skills for Managers (2 days)

How good are your coaching and mentoring skills with your staff?  Your ability to manage emotions and get people to explore different options is critical to your success.   This module will give you the opportunity to develop your coaching skills through intensive practice sessions.  By its conclusion, you will be able to coach and develop your staff in all areas of work as well as build a solid working relationship with them.

Delegating and Developing Initiative (1 Day)

How much are your staff able to use their initiative in your work place?  How good are you at delegating?  Are you constantly snowed under with too much to do, worried that you can't delegate to your people?  Delegation is critical in any team and as a manager you have to know how to do this and how to tap into your team members' true potential.  Doing this well means productivity goes through the roof and staff satisfaction is high; not doing it means you're overloaded and your staff are dissatisfied.

Motivating Others to Reach Full Potential (1 Day)

How motivated are your staff?  Do they jump at the opportunity to try new things or are they reluctant and want to stay with what they already know and do?

On this one day module you'll learn the secrets of how to really motivate your staff.  You'll also learn what does not work (which is usually when you just throw money at problems, including people).  Motivating staff is not that difficult nor that expensive when you know what you are doing.

Giving Positive and Negative Feedback (1 day)

As a manager, giving feedback can be one of the most challenging parts of the job.  The risk is we avoid having to give the tough messages and as managers, we do this at our peril. Giving positive feedback is important but it has to be done correctly to get the full impact.  Giving negative feedback that leads to improved behaviour and a strengthening of the relationship is challenging.  On this one-day module you'll learn the secrets of how to do both while maintaining the relationship and changing the behaviour.
